La Bionda

La Bionda is a musical duo formed by brothers Carmelo and Michelangelo La Bionda, who are considered among the inventors of Italian disco music.[1]

Biography

The grew up in Milan. The two brothers began their business, in 1970 as composers, artists, record producers and publishers. They debued as a group in 1970 with Primo sole, primo fiore to be interpreted by The Beatles Song Festival in Venice. In the early seventies, they recorded two acoustic albums, Fratelli La Bionda srl and Tutto va bene (recorded in the Apple Studios in London) and keyboards with the collaboration of the great pianist Nicky Hopkins. Mia Martini wrote for Neve bianca, Amica, Gentile se vuoi, and Michelangelo La Bionda co-authored with Bruno Lauzi of Piccolo uomo. In 1975, he also played acoustic guitar in the album Volume VIII of Fabrizio De Andre in which it participates significantly Francesco De Gregori.

The great popularity comes after the turn to the emerging disco. To develop their project decide to move to Monaco, and the first great successes come under the pseudonym, D. D. Sound that will accompany them for the entire recording career.

Disco Bass, and Burning Love was the first international success: a success which will then culminate in the production of Cafè, which exploded in 1977, 1, 2, 3, 4 ... Gimme Some More, light-hearted song-style bubble-gum riffs harmonica.

La Bionda Brothers desired to go over and try other musical styles, so the name DD Sound is no longer present, and then back on the market with their name. In 1978, they released the album that contained La Bionda with the ballad "Sandstorm", "There for me" (recorded over the years by great artists of the value of Sarah Brightman, Dalida, Patty Pravo and by Paul Potts), and "One For You, One For Me".

From 1978 to 1981, La Bionda Bandido released albums, High Energy and the innovative I Want to Be Your Lover (Caparezza championship in his song titles and re-proposed by the Engineers in 2009) and albums DD Sound Cafe and The Hootchie Cootchie, followed by the last individual officers Boxes, and Wake Up in the Night. Since the early eighties, the brothers La Bionda focus on composition and music production and activity of Music Publishers.

In 1984, the disc comes out in the Rockets' new line-up as no more space and the name changed to Roketz. The album includes the single is titled "Under the Sun Impercetpion". Composing soundtracks for hit movies including Sergio Corbucci Supersnooper, "who finds a friend finds a treasure", "Face to face" with Johnny and Paul Dorelli Village, "stuff Rich", "My Beautiful, my beauty" with Giancarlo Giannini and Mariangela Melato and Bruno Corbucci: Dog and cat Supercops and Miami and television series such as Inspector Giusti and Enrico Montesano. To compose and produce various advertising jingles like the famous Magic Smiles for Smiles and Songs is still signs of Telegatti, Heart of cream (Cornetto Algida), I'm Coming Home (Bayer Aspirin) and realize the Italian versions of various Coke commercials Feeling only cola. In parallel, in 1983 began their successful and fruitful collaboration with Righeira with which they write Vamos a la playa, No Tengo Dinero In 1984, Caramel comes up with the song "I Love You" solo championship with another song "You're So Fine The Blonde" in 2010 by Indian Neon, emerging New York avant-garde band.

The brothers who founded The Blonde, and continue to manage, Logic Studios recording studios in Milan where he hosted world famous artists such as Ray Charles, Robert Palmer, Paul Young. Depeche Mode recorded Violator (perhaps one of the most important albums of their career, which contains the single "Personal Jesus"), and the most recent artists of the long list of Logic Studios are Laura Pausini, Rihanna, Pooh, Nek, Alessandra Amoroso. Distinguished guests from the big producers RedOne advocate for the success of Lady Gaga to Logic during her tour in Italy. They are currently producing Vinvè Italian singer-songwriter (aka Vincent Vescera) together with the Norwegian singer-songwriter Arne Vatnoy for a "one hit wonder", entitled "This Is Beautiful".
